KNUTSFORD HONDA
Knutsford Honda went into liquidation in early April.
As their was a deficit to the company when they ceased trading, they leave GWOCGB with an outstanding debt for advertising of £1406.
We received no notice that they were to cease trading and have no way of recovering the debt.
There is a new company called Knutsford Motorcycles, trading from the same premises, with the same phone numbers and the same personnel but apparently this is nothing to do with Knutsford Honda!

Product Recall Information
IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 2001 - 2012 GL1800/A
December 19, 2011 Honda has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in some 2001 to 2010 and 2012 model year GL1800/A motorcycles. Under certain conditions there is a possibility that the combined braking system’s secondary master cylinder may cause the rear brake to drag. Unexpected braking increases the risk of a crash, and riding the motorcycle with the rear brake dragging may generate enough heat to cause the rear brake to catch fire.

Breathalyser in France

From July 2012 motorcyclists as well as drivers must carry breathalyser in France
Latest advice from European motoring body the FIA says that drivers of all motor vehicles, including motorcyclists, will have to carry a breathalyser kit in their cars when travelling in France.

The IAM previously reported that from 1 July this year all drivers would need to carry a breathalyser kit, as French drivers will have to, but new information dictates that this €11 fine is applicable to all road users including motorcyclists, but excluding mopeds.
